Would you like the flexibility and freedom to work across a number of health services, and specialise in the field that interests you the most? If you answered yes to these questions, we want you to join our physician associate studies MSc.
Here at St George's we're tackling some of the world's greatest health challenges. Our students study the latest medical developments and then apply this knowledge to the patients they work with. We are passionate about our teaching making a difference to the NHS, which is why we were one of the first universities in the UK to offer the physician associate studies programme. This course allows you to develop the skills you need to assess, diagnose and treat patients in both primary and secondary care services.
Our academic team consists of both physician associates and doctors, as well as esteemed visiting lecturers
from the US. With teaching taking place in both lectures and seminars and one of the UK's largest NHS teaching hospital,
we can equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to take medical histories, perform physical examinations, request
and analyse test results, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment and management plans. Our combination of academic and skills-based
teaching means that our students are ready for an exciting and varied career in the NHS.
We are proud to boast a 100% pass rate for the physician associate national exam as well as a fantastic graduate employment record. With both a two year full time, and three year part time course available, there's never been a better time to start your career as a physician associate.
